Refik Anadol

New media artist, director and designer Refik Anadol was born in Istanbul in 1985. Having completed her undergraduate education at Istanbul Bilgi University Photography and Video Program, Anadol received her Master's degree from the Visual Communication Design Program of the same university and Design Media Arts at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Anadol's projects, which produce visual and auditory live performances, site-specific installations and parametric sculptures, explore the space between digital and physical assets while establishing a hybrid relationship between architecture and new media arts.
