Luz Blanco
About
Luz Blanco is a French artist living in Paris. He spent most of his life abroad, especially in Istanbul and Lisbon. Drawings, photographs and installations; explores the potential of the dialogue between erasure, memory, and forgetting. Works invites a metaphorical approach to the concept of "software failure" – a type of bug that poses no threat to the system that produced it. Based on an extensive drawing process to depict the supporting elements and mechanical distortions of the image and text, Luz leads the viewer into a true archeology of memory. Just as historical and personal memories are inherently fragile, Luz's images are haunted by their own disappearance. Luz's goal is to capture and hide what's left, no matter how faint the tracks.
