Larissa Araz

Larissa Araz (b. 1990) started her undergraduate education at New York University, Steinhardt Department of Media, Communication and Culture in 2010, and completed her undergraduate education at Koç University, Department of Media and Visual Arts in 2014. Araz examines issues related to history, identity, memory or belonging that are or are not included in social memory, with a personal approach. The artist, who participated in many exhibitions and workshops at home and abroad, participated in the residency program of Saha Studio between 2019-2020. Between 2020-2021, he takes part in the Artery Research Program. He is also the executive director of the Poşe artist initiative, which was established in April 2018.
