Erdogan Zümrütoğlu, who was born in Konya in 1970, entered Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 1990. He interrupted his education and made professional studies in France, Belgium and the Netherlands for two years. In 1996, he graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. The artist, who pursues existential concerns in his abstract expressionist paintings, continues his life and work in Istanbul.
