Baki Bodur

In my artistic practice, I create my own reality through dots, colours, lines and shapes. I work mainly in acrylic on canvas, layering textures and pigments to create surfaces that vibrate with depth. The structure of my work reflects the flow and layering of time. My compositions are formed by the coming together of geometric movements. The repetition of abstract units and the interaction of points blur the boundaries between form and perception. My works are about the viewer discovering the interaction between these forms and intuiting the meaning behind the invisible. My compositions aim to awaken the viewer with a feeling beyond the known. As a result, the works that surprise, pause and invite the viewers to take a closer look leave this feeling beyond the known alone with the work and the viewer. My works aim to create a silent space between the viewer and the work.
