İlhan Sayın

İlhan Sayın studied sculpture at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Faculty in 1997. Sayın examines the nature and cityscapes of today, while addressing the issues of destruction and transformation. He considers and interprets the impact of this destruction on the inner world and spiritual existence of human beings. The ‘new appearances, new stories’ created in nature by constantly transforming and changing living spaces forms the basis of his works. While these stories are brought to life through drawing, they reflect the emotions like anxiety and tension we experience. İlhan Sayın lives and works in Istanbul.
