Dilşad Akçayöz reduces the combination of symbol and image in the art of sculpture to the basis of all human experiences in the period from ancient times to the present. The abstract and physical representations of the works are based on subject-subject continuity, beyond a typological negation. The search for form reflects a solid and consistent interpretation on an intellectual basis.The young artist prefers vertical figures standing on a pedestal rather than horizontal sculpture.
